Arrival At School

• Busses and cars begin unloading at 7:45 am.
• All Pre-K students report to the cafeteria.
• Any K-8th grade student wanting to eat breakfast will report directly to the cafeteria. 
• Kindergarten - 5th grade students will report to the gym if they are not eating breakfast or after they eat breakfast. They will remain there until time to go to class. 
• 6th - 8th grade students will report to the “junior high hallway” (the hallway outside of the cafeteria and gym) if they are not eating breakfast or after they eat breakfast. They will remain there until time to go to class. 
• With the exception of pre-k and kindergarten students, on the first day of school only, parents may not escort students through the building.  If a parent sees a need to escort his/her student(s) through the building, he/she MUST check in at the office. 
• The bell will ring at 8:10 for students to be dismissed to class.
• See Tardy Policy for students arriving after 8:15. 

Car Line Policy

• Students and parents must remain in their cars at all times until it is the student’s turn to get in or out of the vehicle.  
• Students must exit and enter the vehicle from the passenger’s side.
• Drivers must follow the path designated by the map provided and must not skip cars in the line.  
• Please pull up as far as you can when dropping off and picking up students.
• Our campus has a no smoking policy; please refrain from smoking in the car line. 
• School zones are also hands-free zones.  Drivers should not have their phones in hand in the car line. 

Dismissing from School

• If there is a change in the way your student is to go home on any given day, you must send a note to your student’s teacher.  If there is an emergency during the day that causes a change in transportation, you must NOTIFY THE OFFICE BY PHONE. Teachers do not always have the ability to check Remind or email by dismissal time. Please, do not make it a habit to call the office and change the student’s mode of transportation.  Only call to change transportation in the case of an emergency.
