Principal's Message

Welcome to Caroline Dormon Junior High School!

On behalf of the faculty and staff, welcome to Caroline Dormon Junior High School. Our school is filled with educators, students, and families committed to positive thinking, hard work, academic achievement, a little fun, and a lot of success!  Teachers and staff at CDJH strive to support all students academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the year. We want every child to become the best all around person they can be, by getting involved in the classroom, extra-curricular activities, and athletics.  We want every student to make friends, love and respect the adults and students on campus, and make good choices that will keep them safe and on a path of success in the future. We want every student to GROW into their very best self.

Strong, dedicated teachers work tirelessly to provide high quality instruction, engaging lessons, and supportive environments for all students. Parent and community support is a significant and vital part of our success. PTO, Grizzly Athletic Club, parent and community sponsors, and individual family members provide support and enrichment for all areas of Caroline Dormon Junior High. There are never enough ways to express our gratitude for all that our teachers and community members do to support the school and our students. The unwavering efforts of all students, teachers, families and community members have resulted in Caroline Dormon Junior High being named a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School, and we could not be prouder of this recognition.

As your principal, I have high expectations for every student academically and behaviorally. I want every child to succeed in and out of the classroom. Most importantly, I want our Grizzly students to love learning, love themselves, and love each other. It is always a GREAT DAY TO BE A GRIZZLY!
